Well, animal cartoon chracters.
I have been a furry for more than a decade, but I know that that is a very alien concept for most people. Especially sine zoophilia, by all means should be, looked down upon.
It also doesn't help that there are some of us are into really wierd things according to most people, one of the most prominently hated being vore.
Mix that with the sheer absurdity that is grown adults going around pretending to be said animals, with a cringy vocabulary on top of that.

People especially are usually averse to the fact that we take kiddy cartoon characters and draw porn of them.

So honestly, it really isn't too strange why people judge us so bad.

They're entirely different creatures that dont even exist. I suppose that if you applied the belief that all living things are animals, including us, then I guess I'd see what you mean.
